So we missed. We'd really like to maintain contact for one more turn, hoping to get another shot. Hanging back on the 18 is a serious option, despite the direct shot. My problem with that choice is that it's awkward to play the four 4's from the mid and the 8 point while keeping those points. However, I think that the overriding theme here is to maintain contact at all costs. Gammons lost doesn't count, and if we are hit, well, we still maintain contact.
