The 5 point is the 5 point, it surely is and as a home point has a high latent value. This latent value may be increased by pointing on it. This occurs when the good rolls left to the opponent are at their minimum, as is the case here. Its all about the dice distribution. Any other play produces a bucket full of great rolls 8 to 16,but what happened to 52 and at what analysis level are the figures derived.Being aware of roll odds may help some to make the correct play for the right reasons. True it is a great ROT.This play is no burial it's a sneak attack.

I did a SKI job on the kids and purchased an 8 core machine and in analysis mode XG runs on every one of them. I like that.
