DQ: Is this a general rule of bearing-in?

In Response To: DQ: How do you break this 6-point prime? (David Presser)

DP said: "The 7 pt is the Achilles heel of bearing in against a 2 pt anchor. Therefore, you need to clear it as soon as you can."

Is this a general rule? So, that the 8 point is the Achilles heel of a 3 point anchor?
