A great tribute to Bill Bartholomay

Bill Bartholomay's first love (after his family) is baseball, but his second has always been backgammon. Bill plays every chance he gets and has distinguished himself as a player over the years.

He is a regular in our Chicago Chouette and local tournaments and is always a gentleman. I rarely win the fight to pick up the check when Randee and I go out with Bill, which I am happy to say is often.

I think most of the backgammon community will find this tribute on the floor of the U.S. Senate most interesting whether you know Bill personally or not. A well-deserved recognition of some of the amazing things Bill has done in his lifetime.
