Stick, when this was discussed a while back, you didn't comment. Michelle posted the settings she uses, which are identical to what I typically use, except I use a larger bearoff database. I'm curious what you would change in these settings. It sounds like you want to go with ++ on 1st pass, but is that really cost-effective? I did re-analyze the Rockwell v Merriman match using ++, but keeping the Huge search. Just to go from + to ++ on 1st pass took an hour on a reasonable machine (~3MM pos/s). The PR's went from 3.37 to 3.39 and from 5.40 to 5.45. This is about what I would expect to see. Do you think we need to use Gigantic search interval? I doubt that would buy us very much at all, but I'm starting the re-analyze now...
