Top Danish Players are Awarded BMAB Grandmaster and Master Titles

TOP DANISH PLAYERS ARE AWARDED BMAB GRANDMASTER AND MASTER TITLES

Four Danish players, Karsten Bredahl, Steen Grønbech, Thomas Kristensen and Freddie Noer, are awarded Grandmaster (Class 3) titles by virtue of their sustained excellent performances in the Live XG Masters Tournaments over the last 3 years. Peter Friberg, Pia Jeppesen, Michael Larsen, Henrik Løber, Thomas Myhr and Marc Olsen are also awarded Master (Class 2) titles.

Note than in the Danish BG Federation’s Norm System, Karsten Bredahl is a Super Grandmaster (SGM) and Steen Grønbech, Michael Larsen, Henrik Løber and Freddie Noer are Grandmasters (GM). The other players are, or are eligible to be, International Masters (IM).

These players have also been fundamental to the successful performances of the Danish Team in "Denmark vs. The World" events held each year at the Nordic Open since its inception in 2010.
