my intuition often leads me into huge blunders, and perhaps it is doing it again.

Getting a second checker sent back is a real concern, especially with the gammon risk, and the cube at 2. Preparing to bring a checker out at the risk of having another sent back doesn't make a lot of sense to me. We do have the opportunity to reduce the number of shots that the PFs have here. I think that is the priority. I know i'm outvoted on this one, but I'll stand with my original move.
