London Open 100+ already signed up! 2014 Videos available on YT

Dear Backgammon Player,

We have had an overwhelming response to the UKBGF running of the Backgammon London Open 2015.

I am delighted to say that we already have over 100 confirmed participants and we expect many more people to sign up over the coming days.

Because we are now only collecting registration fees on the day we can also take entries right up until the tournament starts.

Registration is just £50 for which you get unlimited entries to the plethora of side tournaments (though you cannot be in more than one at the same time in order to make sure that the tournaments proceed in a timely manner).

You really can play backgammon all weekend if you want to.

We believe that the Hippodrome in Leicester Square is the best backgammon venue in the world and we are incredibly well looked after there. The Hippodrome have put on dedicated backgammon staff for us over the course of the entire weekend to make sure that we have everything that we need.

Apologies that we have not had time to edit the footage - there is a lot going on.

Tournament Directors will be Sean Williams, Peter Bennet and Raj Jansari.

We will be assisted by a range of volunteers who have kindly donated their time to make sure that the tournament is as good in 2015 as it was in 2013 and 2014.

We will be reporting the event live via social media including streaming matches (although it will not be to the same quality as in 2014 we still expect to be able to put something quite special together).
