O.K., that's at least a more-or-less self-consistent story, though it's still hard for me to swallow that 3/2 is so strong. Perhaps it's just that the rollout still has too much variance. Comparing 24/23 6/4 with 6/4 3/2, one gets the impression that 3/2 is almost as strong as 24/23, but then comparing 24/23 8/6 with 8/6 3/2, 3/2 looks significantly worse than 24/23.
