2016 Texas Backgammon Championships -- San Antonio -- February 4-7, 2016

Our 2016 brochure and all information have now been updated on our "Texas Backgammon Championships" Facebook page and on our www.texasbackgammon.com tournament website. Come to San Antonio and participate in one of the most fantastic backgammon tournaments in the world. Enjoy a great tournament and experience one of the great destination cities in the USA.

We've enjoyed tremendous success with our first three tournaments thanks to the tremendous support of the backgammon community. Our fourth Texas Backgammon Championships should be even bigger and better.

The classic, newly renovated Menger Hotel in downtown San Antonio -- adjacent to the Alamo and a block from the Riverwalk -- is a tremendous host venue. We'll have the usual wide array of side events, including the Longhorn Classic Masters Jackpot, the Alamo Classic Limited Jackpot, and the unique Dual-Duel. We'll again have the USBGF National Championship West and the USBGF Tournament of Stars doubles event. We'll have the ABT Championship, Advanced, and Limited tournaments -- this year with re-buys available in the Championship and Advanced Divisions.

We will once again host the USBGF Awards Dinner and the 2016 American Backgammon Hall of Fame induction ceremony.

And, of course, we are once again proud to have Geoffrey Parker Games from the UK -- the manufacturer of the finest hand-crafted leather backgammon boards in the world -- as our primary sponsor. The Championship Division winner will receive a custom designed Geoffrey Parker board in addition to the prizes and trophy. Other Geoffrey Parker products will be awarded to various winners and Geoffrey Parker products will be on display and available at the tournament.
