Agree that when you have the ace, some game plans (priming, deep anchor games) become less attractive. So usually you'd try for a blitz or some type of running/holding game. Here, the score argues for a play that does not increase gammons, and I also would not want to keep three checkers on the 24. I'd play B/21 24/23 in a bid for an advanced anchor.
