Do you want to use short notation to write backgammon game? And which is like Nacktation but very simple - with only THREE rules.

RULE 1. Each board point has his constant letter name: bar-a, 24-b, 23-c, 22-d, ..., 2-x, 1-y, opp_bar-z.

RULE 2. At first write the name of point the checker begins long way FROM (according to the dice numbers). Then write the name of point the checker begins short way FROM. For doubles write the name of points in any order. For not used numbers write z (a for opp). Asterisk (for hit) is not used.

RULE 3. Special symbols: D - Double (Redouble, Beaver etc), T - Take, E0-4 - End of game and game score (second player wins 4 points), N - No roll (closed board), # - start of Title line (order - Player1Name-Player2Name,Date,Site,Event,Round,Type,Variant), [12mb] - Difference in equity and BestMove, {good game} - note.

Short form: 65bh=65b 11rtrt=11rrtt=11rt 44brfr=44rrbf=44rbf

Example 1: #V.Ivanoff-I.Petroff,2003.08.13,Monte Carlo,WC,main r1,m17,bg {m17 - match length, bg - backgammon} 42rt52ny22mo32ny31rt52w11vab44gzp43ab63vn66qbm61ni53am31nz54tf65a61fe43za7788 ... (for better view you may insert spaces)

Example 2 (with analyze): #S.Sidoroff-A.Krotoff,2005.12.30,GridGammon,rating,,g16jb,ng {g16jb - moneygame with cube limit 16 and Jacoby and beaver, ng - nackgammon} {eXtremeGammon, move=3ply, cube=XGR, 5184 game} 42rt 52ny 22mo[33bd] 32ny 31rt 52w 11vab 44gzp[159zvrp] 43ab 63vn[9li] 66qbm[40mmq] 61ni 53am 31nz[36iz] 54tf[79jf] 65a 61fe 43za D E[206T]1-0

Now I develop special soft to AUTO convert Pantation from/into traditional notation.
