Are you as good as Joe Russell?

Over the board, for money, Joe Russell had this 2-2 to play and thought for quite a while and got it right. I was stupid enough to bet him he was wrong, but felt pretty good when two other people, including another Giant and another top Open player also got it wrong.

I would like to hear not only what you think is the right play, but WHY?
