The NY Metro is adding a day!

This year we are trying something different, two new events. Both the USA vs the World and the $2500+ High Roller event will be kicking off on Wednesday, Jan. 6, 2016 Starting at noon, we encourage spectators to come watch the top players in the world ( Mochy, Michy, Thomas Kristensen, Akiko , ______ ) square off against USA Giants ( MCG, Falafel, Petko, Kaz, Victor, Steve Sax ). There will be live expert commentary on a large screen HDTV. There will be vigorous sidebetting available. And, hopefully there will be satellites into the High Roller event . The High Roller is going to be a special tournament. A minimum of 16 players(we are pushing for 32!)and a top heavy payout structure, should generate the largest first prize offered in the USA. It is also the only national tournament using 21 point matches, ensuring plenty of play in each match. Combined with a 100% return unlimited side pool, a low 5% rake and a spectacular playing venue, this is an event you don't want to miss. We don't call it the High Roller for nothing. Since the entry fee is large, we are offering satellites all day on Wednesday for those who would like pay less to win their entry into the event.
