I appreciate the gesture, Phil (and have enjoyed the sentiments and humor that have appeared in this thread).

Playing backgammon just isn't fun for me anymore (despite the wider use of clocks). I miss the fast and loose money games (which also provided a meaningful financial plus in going to tournaments) of yesteryear.

Writing posts for this forum is mostly my way of giving back to backgammon, and I'll try to keep it up as long as I can find the time and readers still seem interested. Please don't confuse it with an itch to play. :)
