Thank You Falafel!

Falafel has made a most generous donation to our Collegiate Scholarship Fund. In addition to money, Falafel has pledged his support for this program which he agrees will do much to bring more young people into the game.

With Falafel's help, in just the first 6 weeks of announcing the program, we now have close to $9,000 in the fund to award as college scholarships to both college and high school students all over the world who will compete in our program.

The program will be sponsored by and run through Backgammon Federations throughout the world and we expect to have hundreds of children participating.

The key to this program is that experienced players, like the players on this forum, get involved in coaching kids in schools in their home towns and surrounding areas. Please contact your backgammon federation and volunteer, and if you would like any suggestions, teaching material, teaching videos, marketing ideas, or other support, Mochy contact me or Mochy and we will happily share everything we have with anyone interested in bringing kids into the game.
