Zadar Open: Entry Fee Waived for Giants

Check out this website. It says "FREE ENTRY for all players from the GIANT List and GRID players with rating 2000+ ever!" I am announcing that I am having a tournament at my home this weekend with the exact same deal!

The bad news is that the Zadar Open has already been held. It was in 2015. Where is Zadar? It is on the Adriatic Coast in Croatia, roughly midway between Dubrovnik and Zagreb. This is a very beautiful part of the world.

Congratulations to the Zadar Open 2015 tournament director Dado Martincevic, who is now #21 on the Giants' List!

I am going to make a very bold prediction: two years from now, when the 2017 Giants' List comes out, Croatia will have not just four in the top 32, as on the current 2015 list, but in 2017 there will probably be at least 16 players from Croatia!
