Giants Voting Info Requests

Considering Bob's point 5 more directly. I think that this approach isn't so simple because some countries are naturally stronger than others. To illustrate, I considered the PRs of the best 5 players from a few countries using data from BMAB and EBIF databases and other streamed match results and compared that with the average of top five players in the world, with the following results:

World: 2.9

USA: 3.1

Japan: 3.2

Denmark: 3.6

Germany: 4.0

Russia: 4.2

UK: 4.3

Croatia: 5.5 (5.9 from the five Croatian Giants)

Ballots from USA or Japan with the top 5 places occupied wholly by players from those countries indicates a small bias. Similar ballots from Germany, Russia and UK would appear to have a significant bias in my view. For countries where the top player average PR is 5 or more, the bias would appear to be inordinately extreme in my opinion.
