Teach your children well... (OT)

Coming home from the dentist this AM I got stuck in traffic in front of a local school. The extra five minutes wasted allowed my mind to come up with the following thought:

Certainly one of the biggest concerns for the planet is global warming. One of the biggest concerns in the US (ironically when compared to much of the rest of the world) is obesity. So why do parents have to drive their sedentary children half a mile in their bloated (and idling) SUV's?

Turn off the gas guzzler. Turn on the brain.
