Yeah, it was interesting to see the poor plays the computer chose after it figured out it was losing.

In some ways they were similar to the plays XG chooses when a game is gin. When all plays are equal for the loser, XG does not bother making the "aesthetic" move. When, for instance, most human players would bear off a checker even in a lost cause, XG often does not bother.
