Cleveland ABT Recap--You left out The most important thing

How could you talk about the tournament in Cleveland and not mention dinner Saturday night at Johnny's?

Johhny's is a dumpy little restaurant/bar in an ugly industrial area that serves fantastic gourment food. Thanks to Greg Merriman for taking me there a few years ago, and I have not missed a Saturday night there for about 8 years.

Stick joined us and I think he will also testify that it is a real gem, and truly one of the reasons I always go to the Cleveland tournament.

As for clocks...there was a very long doubles match and I really think someone should have slapped a clock on it or one of the players in the next round waiting should have complained and Joe might well have slapped a clock on it.

I don't mind singles without a clock in a small tournament, but doubles without a clock is like living in Iowa...it feels like it's forever! That's one reason I chose to play in the masters instead of the doubles.
