Unless I was too completely exhausted to play at 11pm, I'd certainly not want to play at 9 am Saturday morning, nothing that after than match I have a full schedule of main ABT event matches to play.

At least it wasn't 11:30pm or 12 midnight! As you do, I also wonder why you were forced to play the semis of the Masters.

Of course, I may sound like an endless loop here, mentioning the lack of clock mandatory. Clocks would make it less likely that delays at some point along he way would've resulted in a bad conflict that the director and staff may have feared.
