BMAB Accredited Tournament Director Awards

BMAB ACCREDITED TOURNAMENT DIRECTOR AWARDS
A system of Accredited Tournament Director Awards has been instigated by BMAB. These awards provide formal recognition of the high level of competence demonstrated by the worthy recipients and record the trust BMAB have in their future BMAB associated work. There are three classes of awards which cover the flowing cases:
ATD (Class 1): Successfully organised and directed two or more BMAB-tournaments, or successfully organised and directed both a BMAB-tournament and a BMAB-Partnered tournament.
ATD (Class 2): Successfully organised and directed a BMAB-tournament, or successfully organised and directed two or more BMAB-Partnered tournaments
ATD (Class 3): Successfully organised and directed a BMAB-Partnered tournament, or successfully acting as Assistant TD in two or more BMAB-tournaments.
The BMAB Executive Board agreed unanimously on the following list of initial awards:
CLASS 1: Amir Eshraghi, Rick Janowski and Bernhard Mayr.
CLASS 2: Honza Cerny, Helmut Gerdenits, Steen Grønbech, Masayuki Mochizuki, Linda Rockwell, Dmitriy Obhukov, David Presser and Steen Grønbech.
CLASS 3: Mark Adkins.
Congratulations to the new recipients of the BMAB Accredited Tournament Director Awards! More similar appointments and upgrades will naturally follow in the next few months and thereafter with the successful completion of BMAB-Tournaments and BMAB-Partnered Tournaments.
BMAB has also appointed numerous Accredited Tournament Officials – players experienced and knowledgeable about BMAB procedures, with the required competence to assist TDs in BMAB-Partnered tournaments and to act in ruling committees at BMAB tournaments. Congratulations and many thanks to these appointees too.
