Any way you look at it we don't want them making the 21-point anchor, so start with 8/4*(2).

We should make this play keeping our next turn doubling equity in mind. 7/3(2) may lead to the most (cubeless) gammon wins but it seems to put too many eggs in that basket. Their best entering rolls are the three small doublets. This plus the fact that getting checkers out of their homeboard is going to take on higher priority pushes me to choose 22/14 (with zero hittable blots) over the blocking/buildering 13/9(2) for the finish of this roll. We'll have excellent outfield control with builers/shooters aimed at out 8-point.

8/4*(2), 22/14.
