I think its a take. Probably close. There are several things going in white's favor here: Race; open 5pt; closed homeboard, gammons are good for any early hit sequence.

Blue has a lot to do and of course, as he brings his checkers home, he continues to expose to flyshots, and may (in some sequences) be forced to hit loose off the 5pt (should white enter).

I think its a close redouble though. What do I know.
