So far, no one is budging!

Says Steve, "I dunno"
Me neither, Steve!Taper_Mike 8/2, 6/2 I guess that means I am the only fool who is convinced by whatever post he last read. I keep finding merit in all the candidates.
24/18 5/1*
Among those who voted for something else, this is the consensus second choice. Because of that, I am leaning this way at the moment. Doesn't mean I'll decide on it. It just means I'm leaning.Calling this a "tempo play" is questionable to me. I reserve that name for plays where the opponent is threatening a bit more than here. If you like, a better name might be "least of all evils."
24/14
I like the nice duplication of 2 and 4. Although I did not mention this play in my original vote, it was one of my candidates.8/2, 6/2
This play equalizes our boards. All the plays we are looking at leave more than 20 shots. We may be about to enter a hitting exchange. When you are on the bar, all two point boards are equal (at least as far as fanning is concerned).I am going to sleep on this, and then make a final decision in the morning.
By all means, please post more, in case I have missed something.
Mike
