BMAB International Ranking List - August 2016 - Grandmasters & Masters

BMAB INTERNATIONAL RANKING LIST -- AUGUST 2016 GRANDMASTERS & MASTERS
The BMAB International Ranking List has been updated to incorporate recent results from BMAB tournaments and individual applications. The detailed results are documented on the following link:

There are now 34 Grandmasters! Masayuki Mochizuki remains as the top ranked player with an astonishing aggregate PR score of 2.77. Victor Ashkenazi, who recently achieved Grandmaster (Class 1) status, is the second highest ranked player with a remarkable aggregate PR score of 2.98. Michihito Kageyama, is very close behind in third place with a similarly remarkable PR score of 3.00. Mochy, Vic and Michi are currently the only players to have reached Grandmaster (Class 1) status!
Grandmaster (Class 2) players Yoshiyuki Nakamura and Petko Kostadinov Kostadinov are the fourth an fifth ranked players with aggregate PR scores of 3.05 and 3.16. John O'Hagan and Jacob Rice, also Grandmaster (Class 2) players are in equal sixth place sharing an aggregate PR score of 3.19.
It is interesting to note that all the almost all the top 10 ranked players in the three previous Giants Lists have now registered with BMAB and achieved Grandmaster status!
