Transcription question - oops!

One player unknowingly buried a checker beneath the clock which was on the edge of board during the bearoff. In the next two games the player placed 14 men on his 13 point without either player knowing there was an irregularity. This was picked up by watching the video recording several days after the event, after noticing unaccountable illegal moves in the match files.

Very frustrating watching this without being able to alert the players!
