Why I don't play on line for money--a good example

I was playing someone on line that I knew he was a fairly average intermediate player. But I noticed he was playing very well.

Then, this play came up and he slotted the 4 point. I thought that was quite a surprising play and at the time I thought it was a pretty bad play. (Seriously, how many humans would make this play, and do it fairly quickly?)

Later, when I put the match into XG I not only saw he played the match at 3.56, he also made the correct play here.

This is enough proof for me, given his live history, that he cheated. And of course, this is not the first time I have seen examples like this, but I was happy to see it, as it reconfirmed why I don't think much of serious competition on line and certainly money play on line.

This is why Mochy and I have set up the final qualifying matches for the Intercollegiate to be monitored live by a trusted representative.
