There are not a lot of people who are fast enough at transcribing into xg to keep up with a match. It is a hellish job and sometimes you actually have to ask the players to stop so you can input properly. But one thing that is not too difficult is to find someone to write down the moves, simply write the roll and what is moved on a piece of paper, or better yet, on a computer screen.
Now, once this is done there is another step required, and of course, that is transcribing it into XG. I have 3 people who will do this for me for about $10 a match, and they do it quickly. I email them the moves, or a link to the video if I record the match by video, and usually, the same day I get back the XG file.
If you don't find your student or helper, this is my suggested alternative.
Another alternative: if you are playing and I am not, I will do the transcribing live for you, but I do warn you that even though I am pretty good at it, sometimes you might have to stop to let me catch up. And I won't charge you $15 an hour....I will charge you much more as you will have to spend a little more time explaining some of your crazy plays to me.
I won't promise any dates, but I will tell you this: we will have an automatic transcription program in the future that will solve all of this...we have it, it works, it is now a matter of how we bring it to market and price it and some details.
