my thinking is this...i do not have the position in front of me, but i seem to recall the holding side being down 17 pips. by picking and passing you still retain the backgame plan...albeit somewhat crippled...but you gain something like six or seven hyperpips..pips gained when he dances. in addition, it is tough to get that straggler around...i think that the two blot slot play would be right if the race were not this close..but why sacrifice a potentially viable game plan right now?
