I don't understand the point. For the record, let me state what I perceive on the whole Jack / Murat thing:
1. Jack is supposedly backing up with arguments why Murat may have a case about whatever 2. Murat just blindly posts stuff, and has created an online version of himself (Herself?) that backs up his (hers) statements 3. Jack asks almost reasonable questions, and takes the side of Murat. 4. Murat is considered a Troll. 5. By association, and perhaps the lack of a separate person, Jack is also considered a Troll.
So, if indeed there are two people that are doing this thing, then why are the arguments against that so strong?
If there is indeed only one person, posing as two, then why? What do you hope to achieve? Its pointless.
I suspect the only fool involved in this message string may be in fact me, for even raising the question. I want to believe in people, and I want to think the best of them, but I really, really have a hard time in this case. Its just so asinine.
I understand there may be some pride at stake here, so may I suggest that if this is the case, that Jack perhaps just stops referring to Murat as a separate entity, and asks his questions directly.
Also, cluttering up the forums with this kind of nonsense really is fruitless. I would personally prefer just to read about positions, assessments, play theory etc. I don't mind about the politics of BG, or tournament things (I like those), but questions about bots cheating? About code theft? About not believing the current strongest bot? Its our only frame of reference, there must be an authority. Today it is XG, tomorrow it might be something else.
