This morning, I received an e-mail from General Brown and Admiral White (who are introduced in this post). They recently read The Mystery of the Big Stack post, which led to the generic big-stack puzzles (solutions here and here). These puzzles reminded them of an incredible game they once recorded, played by none other than our inscrutable friends, Sir Smith and Dr. Jones.

Purportedly, Smith (Blue) turned the cube some time prior to stacking ALL fifteen of his checkers on the same point. Subsequently, Jones (White) became TOO GOOD to redouble (from 2 to 4), never having hit a checker the entire game! Moreover, both players played the cube and checkers perfectly, according to XGR++ evaluation.

..(A) Is this possible, and if so, HOW? (Just the general idea, exact sequence not required.)
..(B) Allegedly, they had played only 23 rolls (between them). Is that possible, and if so, how?
