BMAB (US) No5 - Unofficial PR results

The BMAB (US) #5 Rating tourney was held on April 6, 2017, in conjunction with the Cherry Blossom Backgammon Championship. We had 10 participants. The format consisted of four 11 points matches, with the first three rounds drawn randomly in advance, and the fourth round determined by Swiss pairing rules.
All of the matches have been transcribed, and I have analyzed them and compiled the results. With BMAB in a transitional period, I’m not sure how soon these results will be officially analyzed, so I have included my unofficial results in the table below.
Congratulations to John Klein, who takes the PR title with a very impressive performance of 3.77! John previously had 56 experience points with a fine PR of 4.62. With this tourney added, he now has 100 EP, and will be eligible for a full rating. That rating is expected to be M1, only one level shy of Grandmaster status. Well done, John!
Steve Brown and Vladi Gudgenov, who split the prize money as the only players with 3 wins, had the 2nd and 4th lowest PRs, respectively. Congratulation to both of them for a fine performance.
