Making the four point leaves a direct shot with eleven hitters and four double-hitters. Seems too risky with white's closed board and blue's race lead.

I'd like to lift the blot on the bar point and I'd like to play off the nine since it's rearmost, but I don't want to leave a direct shot so that means stacking a fifth checker on the deuce.

So, I'll lift and play off the eight. Same number of shots, but leaves a better looking distribution.
