Maybe I'm missing something in your post, but here's how I see it: Given your modified starting position, there are no market-losing sequences for White after Blue opens with a 6-5 as per your example. Since there will be no gammons for the trailer at 2-away/1-away, either side's take point will be ~25% at 2-away/2-away. After Blue's opening 6-5, even after White's best exchange: 6-6 followed by a 2-1 for Blue, Blue will have an easy take.
