I think at -3 -1, after 64P 65R, technically you must double (55 and dance is a pass). At -5 -1, you do not have a market loser after 64P 65R (or at least I cannot spot it), so you have an optional double. If you wait and then get a favorable 55, dance sequence, you have a must double that should be taken. But I think you will draw many passes.
I think -5 -1, -7 -1 etc are worse understood than -3 -1, so waiting with doubling makes sense. And you are less likely to technically lose your market.
