Hello Players,

I rarely visit this site, but fortunately Roberto alerted me to this thread. I have read your comments and I take them to heart. I so want this tournament to be a success. Your criticism is valid and I will try to make the changes you seek regarding match length. I have no objection to lengthening the SJ to 15 or even 17.

Making the open consolation to 9 points might be doable as well. AS this is the first year for the Montreal Open, it is hard for me to predict the number of entries I will have, but unless we are over 120 players, I think we can manage 9 points. I will discuss this with my colleagues but I think we can manage it.
