Watching BG tournaments online

I've written a number of times that I would prefer to see live backgammon tournaments on a site like GridGammon as opposed to the current practice of streaming live video.

As I type, the finals of the Bridge World Championships are taking place. You can watch either on Bridge Base Online, a GridGammon-like interface or on a YouTube live stream. There are 5535 kibitzers watching on BBO and 405 watching the stream.

It seems that the bridge community supports my preference...
