Blue to play 61 (after adding the 15th White checker to the board)

Benjamin lost one of the White checkers in his backgammon set. It was on one of White's lower three points on the position above, but somehow it fell on the floor and was swept away by the bartender. Fortunately, Benjamin had a large spare white button in the pocket of his coat that he could use as a replacement.

Neither Benjamin nor his opponent could remember on which of the three points the missing 15th checker had been located, but they agreed to put it on the 2pt.

Given that the White button (checker) is added to the 2pt, what is Blue's best play with 61?

If the button were instead on White's 1pt or 3pt, would that alter Blue's best play?

Nack
