No, the two sets of 5184 trial rollouts were cubeful. There are positions where the Jacoby/No Jacoby setting makes a noticeable difference, however, not for the type of rollouts I was doing of opening positions.

BTW, Gnubg lets you roll out the opening position with a 'no double' start i.e. no 11...66. With XG you have to roll out the 21 possible opening rolls and do an average.
