Backgammon in the 1930's

Hi all --

I've had a pet project going for several months delving into various online media archives to find backgammon materials from the 1930's BG boom, and have added two 'Museum' bags to the NEBC website that I hope BG history buffs will find interesting. One is a chronology of the years 1928 - 32 presenting all the book publications along with photos, magazine articles, newspaper stories etc. so that we can see the month-by-month progression of the craze, which included the introduction of doubling, the chouette, and the doubling cube (as distinct from doubling itself):

For the real geeks out there, a second page is devoted to the evolution of doubling and doubling devices at the time:

I have an additional page or two to add in the coming months when I can find the time.

Comments and corrections welcome!
