'21' -- the movie (OT)

Got to see this movie on a long plane flight this weekend. Might have been discussed here already since I believe it came out this past spring and Stick sees every movie on opening night.

All opinions welcome but I'm specifically wondering about what people think about the veracity of all this (and not just about the mathematician=nerd getting the cute girl). (I heard it was based upon a true story, but in Hollywood they take a lot of poetic license....)
