GNUBG save settings problem

I'm using the new (0.90) build of GNUBG with Vista... when I try to do "Save Settings", it comes back with Permission Denied. I thought it was a read-only problem... I changed the file (gnubgautorc, I think) to remove the read-only, and even the directory it's in, but no dice. Any advice?
