Do we need a face-to-face forum to discuss clocks at ABT events?

Some here have worn calluses on their fingers typing about clock usage. We haven't seem to have gotten very far.

Is it time for an open forum at one of the ABT events? LV is the next one (and it's a big one with players from all over the US).

I absolutely believe we need directors present and involved in such a forum. Although some directors have spoken up (e.g. Linda) here, and others have spoken in private, there's no way clocks will be widely used at ABT events without directors approval+cooperation.

One possibility is an open panel of four directors and four non-directing players. Definitely leave time for audience participation. A moderator would be important, and maybe a panel to sort through questions submitted ahead of time. Sorta like the presidential 'debate' format used in Nashville (middle of the three pres. debates).
