I see some attractiveness in clearing the 8-point (hitting on the 3-point in the process) as it starts the point I want the most and gets rid of the inefficiency of holding the 8- and 2-points simultaneously. At DMP, 11/9 could be the deuce instead of the gammon-avoiding 8/6 pulling me at most scores.

However, I leave White alone for another roll, hoping he will self-destruct. If he rolls a six I still get one last checker to bang around (at least until the cube shows up :).
