Internet access?

Just wondering what the situation is for European hotels. Anyone (including Stick) have a good feel for this? (From what you said already it sounds like you're not expecting it.)

In US, from my experience, >90% of hotels have in-room internet access, and almost all the less-expensive hotels give it to you for free. (It's not the greatest bandwidth, but still tolerable most of the time.) Unfortunately, unless they've changed since last year, the hotel in Novi charges (~$10/day?) for in-room internet. (Beds are very comfortable, so that makes up for some of the pain. :)

BTW, hotel where Madison (Labor Day Weekend) event is held does have free in-room internet (and Sleep Number beds, too).
