I have to disagree, Jake. Nack still has "some" of it. He now is the leader on GG ranking system... His rating hovers around 2070, though he mostly plays unrated matches (while giving lessons).

Evidently he occaisionally also plays in the rated Nackgammon tournaments online there to "activate" his status and that makes him eligible to be on the ranking list at GG.

I am sure that I speak for everyone at GG when I say that we would welcome him to play more rated matches there.

I would not say that 1 tournament in 2009 is borderline inactive though. I would call it sedentary. I would say he is pretty inactive at GG but I will vote for him as a Giant...

Because he IS a Giant of backgammon, plain and simple.
