I'd like XG to ask me if I'm sure when I accidentally click on "cancel" instead of "interrupt" the rollout.
Curiously nobody have asked that before but It is already in my list as "Xavier wishes" as it happened to me once or twice (that's enough to make it to my list) I'd also like to have the option to have XG save the rollout periodically so if the power goes out (or I click on "cancel" instead of "interrupt") I don't lose everything.
Will be in version 2. also planned is to handle Window "stupid" reboot when doing windows update and hopefully set the program to resume automaticly the analyze/RO I'd also like the export to have an option to include comments.
Also in the list I'd also like to be able to press Ctrl-A (Windows standard) to "select all" candidate moves. (Helpful when you want to do a forced XGR+ analysis of all moves.)
hmm.. i'am not sure it would work, hot keys should be responsive, running an analyze will not do that.. but maybe using the top move withing 0.0x equity will do. i'll keep the suggestion in mind. I'd also like to have some type of thumbnail preview mode so when I have a folder with 200 positions in it, I don't have to open each one individually to find the one I'm looking for.
The thumbnail works in Vista but not in Windows 7. Microsoft had introduced in Vista a format for save game that includes thumbnails ("Rich Game Header", part of DirectX), but for whatever reason it was dropped from windows 7. If someone know where to get the Shell handler i'd be grateful to know about that so I could include the thumbnail support in Win 7.
Chase: I'd also like to thank Xavier, as always, for all the work he and his elves have put into making XG such a fine program.
Thanks Chase, btw, the community are my "elves". GameSite 2000 is small company: my wife and I. Even though Michelle surely qualify as being an elf (using Tolkien's definition of elves as the "fair kind") that it is still only one elf!
