Thanks, Ken. The reason I asked you to post the XG (3-ply) rollout is that its S/D margin differs substantially from those of Snowie and Gnu.
Here is data for opening 54:
Money
Snowie .. [S D21 R30] 31k 10kR
GnuBG .. [S D11 R25] 92k
XG 3-ply [S D3 R25] 62kOther scores (GnuBG)
d[S R8 D23] 31k 5kD
s[S R17 D45] 36k 5kD
g[D S20] 15kKey: S = Split (24/20 13/8, D = Down (13/9 13/8), R = Run (24/15). Error sizes are in thousandths.
A letter before the brackets denotes score: d = dmp, s = gammon save, g = gammon go; else assume money. After the brackets is the number of trials (in thousands, rounded down). For example, "s[S R17 D45] 36k 5kD" means that at (gammon) save, S is best and R is -.017 after 36000+ trials (and D is -.045 after 5000+ trials).
The Snowie rollout on this site is [S D30] 15k, but the rollout that I just posted (and that is summarily listed above) is an extension of that rollout, which narrowed the margin to [S D21] 31k. I am in the process of having S and D extended to 46k.
The GnuBG rollout on this site (which I just posted here, for convenience) is [S D13.1] 46k. I also copied David Rockwell's Supremo rollout into the same post, which is [S D9.9] 46k. The data from these two rollouts is summarized in the [S D11] 92k composite above.
